Complementing the Programming Guides is a cost study that identifies resources and estimates cost ranges for the implementation of the eight SDPP dropout mitigation interventions undertaken in the four countries. The study projects the costs of continuing the interventions by the relevant Ministry of Education. The analysis examines several cost categories, including one-time development and start-up costs, recurrent costs, and annualized costs. For each intervention, costs are presented per school and per student, showing substantial variation per country due to the differing number of students reached yearly and labor costs. In general, the most substantial costs were incurred for development and start-up, while annual recurrent costs are relatively modest, particularly if assumed by the Ministry of Education.
